Good quad, before I had a Honda Rubicon and actually I'd liked that one better, but my Can-Am carries a passenger seat which my wife likes, ( she won't ride bikes not even as passenger ) so I have the bike for myself🤫😁Ah i miss my quad, i had the 660 grizzly Yamaha. Such fun.

Can u explain a bit regarding what exactly u wired to inside the usb ? Did u pop the cowling off and wire to the power wire that’s used for the usb behind the cowling ?I just cannot stop loving this cockpit view with my touratech mount installed, and wired through the usb connector, works perfectly !😷 View attachment 68375
Very easy ! I just to a usb 2.0 cable and put it into the corresponding usb connections on the AT and the Zumo and it worked perfectly, eventually I will make an fixed installation with the power cable but that is a bigger job.Can u explain a bit regarding what exactly u wired to inside the usb ? Do u by any chance have any pictures of info on when u did it ?
Oh so are u just constantly using the usb connector ?Very easy ! I just to a usb 2.0 cable and put it into the corresponding usb connections on the AT and the Zumo and it worked perfectly, eventually I will make an fixed installation with the power cable but that is a bigger job.![]()
Correct, and it works fine for me but as I say eventually I will make a fixed installation when I take apart the front coils to get access to the hidden connector. It will work with the 12v socket as wellOh so are u just constantly using the usb connector ?
could a 12v socket be used if I have one ?
Where / what is this hidden connector ppl speak of ?Correct, and it works fine for me but as I say eventually I will make a fixed installation when I take apart the front coils to get access to the hidden connector. It will work with the 12v socket as well![]()
Can u show a more close detailed photo of where u ran the wiring for ur zumo and what u hardwired it to for a switched setup ?Ref USB i dont think so , would i be right in saying the voltage isnt right ? Only reason i say that is that it wouldn’t charge my Garmin when i tried it.
With a Honda Tank Bag there is full visual of the Nav. I believe its 8 L bag. If it were bigger like expanding tank bag it would cover the nav but a non expandable bag would work.
for me having Nav in its current location makes it really easy to data input whilst on the move without having to lean forward.
picture one is my rider view of the Garmin

What’s your plan for wiring those red and black cables because I was looking at it today and if you want them to actually turn on and off with the bike you’re going to have to tap a switched fuse or use a secondary fuse box add on.Hopefully you can see it here, thye red and black are for the fixed installation and not in use yet, only connected via the usb cable

Wire into the accessory socket plug that is behind the left side panel. I did that with my wireless phone charger, just made up a piggyback lead so I could just plug in the accessory socket when it eventually arrived. What’s your plan for wiring those red and black cables because I was looking at it today and if you want them to actually turn on and off with the bike you’re going to have to tap a switched fuse or use a secondary fuse box add on.
Quite frankly, I do not know, guess someone here can helpWhat’s your plan for wiring those red and black cables because I was looking at it today and if you want them to actually turn on and off with the bike you’re going to have to tap a switched fuse or use a secondary fuse box add on.
I’ve asked around and it looks like the simplest way/easiest way is either tapping into something inside your front Cowl or tapping into a secondary fuse box that you install first.Quite frankly, I do not know, guess someone here can help![]()
Good to here and so far no problem with charging probably due to the gps does not consume muchI’ve asked around and it looks like the simplest way/easiest way is either tapping into something inside your front Cowl or tapping into a secondary fuse box that you install first.
Have you had any issues with the GPS dying because it doesn’t charge very fast on the USB connection?
If you can whait until I got it. I just order new Givi upper bracket. Last year I mistake to order the normal not adventure sport model.Does anyone have a picture with a phone mounted to the CRF1100L Givi upper bracket with the low windscreen, or without phone? I wonder how much taller it is than the low windscreen.
