Hi all,

I've been reading for a while all the information and interesting opinions shared, across the board.

Patiently (short of) waiting for my Red DCT to arrive, hopefully early April.

It was fairly easy for me to decide, it was either the base model or the "high end" one.
They only thing that I was considering was the price. As soon as I decided to "pull the trigger" on that I had my answer.

Currently, I have an XLV1000 Varadero 2004 (no ABS) so I thought to move forward as a rider embracing the new technology. I was always a fun of Honda's bikes, so what's better than going with the AT DCT. IMHO DCT is the way forward.

All of us tend to forget that you can always ride it as a "manual", using your left hand instead of your left foot (and hand)...is that a big thing? Not for me.

Kia ora, & good on you - NZ has too be one of the best places for any bike, but particularly great for adventure bikes. (My 650 Transalp was a hoot there!) Eventually when I return, I'll definitely be bringing my DCT with me.
