The bike came with these R&G lens protectors I've never been keen on them as water, mud and crap gets between the lens but I'm glad I left them on as you can see it's done its job nicely.
I only noticed it today while I was changing the screen to a new un. Bet new headlights aren't cheap.

Have similar but despite IPA cleaning lens one fell off after 3 or 4 months. Im thinking of glueing them on. Look ok, not great but not awful. I believe a new Headlight assembly is the order of a grand! How long have you had yours on?

Wow, that's a shed load of cash!
Some of the plastic velcro has been glued on but they haven't fell off yet, daily use for around a year now with me being the new owner. So all weather and road conditions to .

Rugged roads have got them for £28 plus postage. I'm waiting for my 'light tint' as they only had clear in stock. Hopefully I'll be able to change out the white velcro for black as I did with my upper deflectors. Unlike Amazon, RR take your payment before dispatch, so I'd check stock levels if you buy anything really expensive. There's a recent post on the site which mentions a plus £1000 cost for a front light unit but I haven't checked myself.

About £800 list price for a 2019, same for 2020> standard and about £900 for 2020> ATAS.
As said though that is list so with a decent dealer you should get a discount, still spendy though and a protector is definitely worth it.

I have one from Slipscreens, replaced the clear Dual Lock with black Velcro, would have preferred black Dual Lock but only black I could find have a white adhesive pad which kind of defeats the purpose of it being black

Just had a quick check. As an example a 2018 CRF1000 headlight unit on Revzilla is $1800. Saw a used unit on Ebay for £500. For the less tech minded like myself a unit means both headlights as they don't come separate. Its kind of smash one get one free.... scary prices so thanks for taking the time to post the photo. Even more convinced of the need for them now.

Slipscreens do them in all colours for the CRF1000 as well, if RR don't come up with them soon it may be worth cancelling.

Yes, the prices are bonkers, so glad I kept them on. No doubt it was due to all the gritters being on the road then other traffic throwing them from their tyres. It's a reminder to keep the helmet visor down 😱

In the interest of fairness....
Rugged Roads were as good as their word and the protectors arrived mid week. The white velcro, although provided, was not stuck on to the item so it was easy peasy to put some black 'velcro buttons' on and Bob's your Uncle.

Hi - can you put a pic up of the tint protectors, and does it affect the headlight beam at all at night.
I,m just in the process of buying some myself and cant decide on clear (which i had on previous bikes) or the tint this time
Thanks

I'm sure that the tint must affect the light output in some way but not that I can tell. Somebody with a 'Lumens Detector' or whatever they use may be able to say. I'll post a pic tomorrow when you will be able to see what they look like in the daylight.
