Hi I'm from NSW Australia. Have ordered a AT DCT from local dealer, expected delivery March 16. Presently ride VFR 1200 cross tourer and previously VFR1200f DCT
Lots of talk here about the DCT and don't mind admitting that I love them and put nearly 60,000 km on the VFR but of course that was all highway use. The crosstourer was manual as Honda did not bring the DCT to Australia.
Anyway just wanted to say hi and advise am very excited about the new AT.

Hi Roger.
Yes I did hear that WA got a small supply of crosstourer DCT in first shipment but none after. I tried to get hold of a used one at the time and have been looking ever since. I don't need one now as the AT is in DCT. How long did they tell you before AT will arrive?

Rider_Marc, I too was on the waiting list for the first of the WR400F's back then. What a great bike it was, compared to what was available at the time. Removed that dang throttle stop, pulled the baffle, and that thing was a thwap-thwap barn burner. My favorite of all bikes I've owned. I remember taking it home and being so happy.

I'd go ape if Yamaha made a DS version of the latest FI WR450F.

My suspicion is that many would spring for a d/s WR450F. It could even put a dent in the KTM sales.

Good to know you pulled and removed those things, almost standard across the board that we have to remove those OEM fun killers :D
