I´m waiting for a black AT. It should arrive next week!
Does anyone saw a black one? I´ve tested the Red version.

João Botas @ Sesimbra have one for test riding (no ABS version)

When did you ordered yours? Mine was by the end of November and should have it by mid February...

Welcome :)
Mine was in the second week of november, is one of the first 75 units for Portugal!
What did you end up paying out the door for your AT?
I´m not shure if I have understand your question, but in Portugal the ABS model cost 13,450€, including all the taxes.

Olá Pedro,

You can find also in ONDAMIL (Almada).

Today I received a call saying that next Monday I can get the bike, Honda Portugal ordered the dealers to request the registrations all in the same day...
I must say the black version looks really nice - quite tempted. Had a VFR in black back in 2002 - lovely when they are clean...!
Thanks for the foto and for you opinion!
I ordered a high seat to increase the height from 870 to 900mm!
Does anyone tested already a high seat in this model?

Eurico, tell me when you receive yours!

I asked around(my dealer etc) for the higher seat, but they can't give me details on the looks. I hope it's one peace (enduro style)... pls show some pics of your new bike when you receive it. Including the high seat :)

Enjoy!

Same here. I especially like how they let the Africa Twin lettering be in a tone that contrasts well with black plastics and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.
Black always looks nice but only when it is clean and shiny. Requires a lot of buffing to maintain that shine otherwise you will see every spec of dust or dirt(not to mention every scratch or imperfection too).

My last bike was a black Ducati Monster S2R, beautiful but a mission to keep clean. Black also absorbs heat more than any other colour.

It does look nice though!

!
Yes - the other half's car is black and looks clean for about an hour every week when I've washed it. The rest of the time it just looks distinctly secondhand as she drives it to and from the stables (to tend the second mortgage).

My black VFR wasn't too bad though - the shiny bits were mostly well away from the wheels and the road.

But I thought the desired effect with adventure bikes was "casual dirty"?!

It´s not one piece, is just de driver seat. It is like the standard (I think the plastic structure is the same and only changes the amount of foam) anda have two assembly positions, the lower with 880mm and the higher with 900mm.
How much is your height?

Might be interested in that new seat also....put pictures when possible.
(1,87m in my case)
1,78m, however I like a high ride position.
With a 900mm seat I still put easily my feets on the floor at the same time (I had a teneré 660 with that seat height).
I will send pictures when it be in my hands:) asap I hope!!!
