Will you change out your DR650 for the AT if it's everything you wanted? Or keep a 2 bike garage?
Too Many Toys?

You pose an interesting question. To make room for an AT, I'd either have to sell (or trade-in) my Mighty DR OR sell my '01 Jeep Wrangler. Too many toys.
I say keep the wrangler! But I may be biased towards Jeep wranglers. :grin2:

welcome to the show!!
Thank you. Don't know where you are, but here in Florida we haven't seen the AT yet. I have a refundable deposit on one and am anxious to see it. Of course, if I do buy one, I'll have to ride all over our American SW next Spring. :)
Since you're retired, are you making more time to venture out to riding roads that really let you get a feel for your bike?

I'm a late re-entry to motorcycling and didn't even know if I'd like to ride motorcycles....Who knew? In 2013, I bought a still-in-the-box Suzuki DR650. Have now completed 32,000 miles on my Mightly DR and think it's safe to say, I like to ride. My longest solo trip todate has been from Central Florida to Big Bend Texas National Park and back -- about 3,800 miles round trip.

With the possible purchase of an AT, I'd just have to ride longer and further.

Love the '01 TJ Wrangler -- I've been thru it bumper-to-bumper and it only has 74K miles on the clock -- No smoke, no salt, adult driven miles. My issue is need 'mo parking space.
2001 TJ Wrangler, 4L, 5 speed manual.

Hey Florida Cracker (X32792),
I'm also in Florida, currently in Palm Beach, but I own a farm in NF, High Springs to be precise, which is my real home.
I recently sold my '05 LJ, which I bought off the showroom floor and I sold it with 10,881 miles on it. I miss it like crazy. Not one scratch and never left outside overnight and never used in mud, only sand for birding and shooting way out.
Email me if you are looking at selling your beauty. I'm at Airarms333 at Yahoo dot com.
Welcome aboard. When we get our AT's, maybe we will hook-up and ride up your way. Down here is flat and dull. I always ride the prettier roads of NF where it's at least a little hilly, with better off-road terrain than this reclaimed swamp :)

Stay safe,
Jim

I think FL folk might end up making up a good portion of owners here.

Florida Folk, Just dropped by my friendly local Honda Dealer and asked if there were any fresh, unsubstantiated rumors about when we might see an AT to which they replied, "We don't know..." John
