Honda did something superslick when designing the CRF1000L Africa Twin. They put the airbox on the outside. Compared to the segment leading R1200GS which is essentially a touring bike for dirt, honda built a dirt bike you can tour on...
Whats great about the new airbox setup on the CRF1000L is that it makes the bike narrow like an MX. the slim seat doesn't force you to the back, you can move fore and aft to load and unload the front tire
