When I look at these pictures they look very different?

 

Here’s the OEM Honda rack fitted to my bike.

 

 

Also the Honda rack and pannier has a cut out on the right for the exhaust. The Givi luggage pictured has an asymmetric set up with a smaller pannier on the right to make the bike the same width either side.

 

Actually Givi also offer the asymmetrical case for the right side.

That was exactly my point!

I’m still of the opinion that someone on here, might have been another forum or facebook group, I can’t recall exactly which, but someone somewhere stated that the Honda racks were made by Givi.

They do look kind of similar but without comparing them side by side it will just be a guess as to whether the dimensions are the same.
Have you tried asking Givi if their panniers will fit the Honda racks (presuming that is what you want)

 

nope not yet, but have you tried using the Givi website?

It’s truly shockingly bad, I’ve signed up for it to remember me, and my bike type, it’s forgotten my login details multiple times, and don’t even bother with the search function within the site, it can’t even find the same item that’s already on the page you are already looking at!

That’s what I thought as well, but as no one seems to have bought the Givi Cases and actually confrimed they do attach to the Honda OEM racks I’m beginning to have my doubts.

 

Regardless of Givi website being not all that good, I would contact them via email, and see if there is a local phone number for your country to give them a call. I have contacted Bumot in the US and got really surprised of the willing and kindness to answer my questions. Hope you get the information to solve the mystery.

Yes I did just that, I used their contact request form this morning, and got a very interesting reply, and not what I was expecting at all.

First here’s my request.

 

You might get away with fitting a left side givi pannier but I dont think they make a givi pannier with an exhaust cut out.....I may be wrong.

Easiest thing to do would be to rock up to a dealer who has one in stock and give it a try. If they think they might be getting a sale I'm sure they'd be happy to oblige.
