🙏 Finally I get the android auto to work as Honda should have done it from factory.
Been riding the last 2 years with all the hiccups you all know about, cable in cable out...
I ended up being ok happy with a nice quality Anker USB cable, but now after many days with rain I need a can of electronic cleaner at hand to get it somewhat stable again. Had enough of all this hassle!
Final drop was riding from Sweden to Denmark with my smartphone screen with google maps. meh.. grrr.
I had already bought the AA wireless dongle and the quadlock wireless charger, but my plan was to wait until I had cash next year for the full Denali setup Hexcan D4 lights, a real horn etc, and install all and power the quadlock wireless charger from there. But then I thought aha the accessory 12 volt socket, I never really use it and also thought that its only for sunny days, at least for whatever you put in there will go dead with water.
So I cut the cables from the socket soldered USB charger cables to the Quadloack charger on with crimpflex, ( could not get hold of the connectors)
And now voila it works with no issues so far, it fires up, and no screen freeze and all that crap. Just mount the phone start bike go!
Can really recommend this setup.
I know im not the first, but I was inspired by others who dared try out this combo. Thanks all!
Cheers
Dan
