I'm so glad I didn't pull the trigger on buying last year. I really wanted the Tri-color AT and I had a gut feeling it would eventually be released in the US if there were enough interest.

I bought the bike w/extended warranty & roadside tire/wheel coverage today from Del Amo Motorsports in Santa Ana, CA.

Without further ado, I give you my 2017 Honda AFrica Twin Manual (of course!:wink2:) in Tri-Color!

Don't think I'll be putting any miles on it till I get it fully protected w/crash bars, read up on 900+ pages of mods, shave off weight (i.e. replace stock exhaust) which may take 2 or 3 months. Hey, I've waited almost a year for this bike...what's another 2 or 3 months? LOL

Hi Nemesis, Looks good - congrats!
I have the same as you, since about November 2016, and am happy with my choice. Just a question. I see the indicators are NOT led. Is that a US thing?

About waiting for the protection, it is probably a good thing. I had a stupid fall over, and the protection saves the plastics big time.

Enjoy.

Yes. We don't always get the cool stuff like you guys.

I really think it has to do with our safety regulations - the bigger the lights are the more likely other motorists will see you. Which isn't always the case.
