I doubt it. I believe BMW has done that before but I've never heard of anyone else doing it. I personally prefer the more conservative tire. As much as I would like to think I will spend enough time in the dirt to justify knobbies the truth is most of my miles will be on the road.

I had heard the wear was terrible on the street. They would be awesome in the dirt though. How did they hold up on your GS erey?

A lot of the guys on the Super Tenere forum swear by Heidenau's. They are getting over 10k miles on a rear. I can't imagine riding with a tire that hard.

I have heard they can be a little tricky on pavement especially when new and especially in the rain.

I'll have to try some out. I typically run Anakees or Tourance but hope to ride the AT in the dirt more.
