Most people have had poor heated grips.
A lot have the corroded spokes.
Some have had a doddgy set switch.
The OEM tyres are very bad in the wet in Europe, not so many complaints in the US.
The OEM accessories are fine on road, but more protection maybe needed off road.
I've passed 11,000 miles (length of UK x 3, 3K in theDolomites, Alps). [However, as the AT exagerates speed by 10% - that's probably just 10,000.] So far: 'Set' switch stopped in heavy wet (replacement gone again - if it was). Spokes corrosion (but only seems cosmetic). Long hot ride incl. Stelvio - bike didn't start immediately - but OK after cooling down (never repeated). Found I've issues this winter with cold start (0-5C) - tried the recommended key-switch-off and open throttle (while holding down started) for 5 secs - hasn't resolved. Unlike my GSs, there's wide fluctuation in MPG: Ave 240-250m/tank, managed to squeeze 300m (sitting at 50ish); panniers/m'way can drop tank to 190m (or less). Hope that helps.
From a dirt bike background. Have done 850km in one day at 45deg all good (sat on 140kmh) same trip was 5deg also good. have AM heated grips and as much protection as I can get as I crash a bit. Hated the OEM tyres, standing on dirt is a breeze, foot pegs are ****. Handles great but just wish it weighed like a 250,it's hard to pick up. I need more practise
