Welcome ! ...good choice, tri-colour is the fastest being the HRC colours ;-)
Hey, Tri-colour is red, white and blue - same colours used by Honda Racing Corporation(logo) and anything to commemorate it and to show the heritage. A lot of Honda models over the years have used these colours.Hey , Marsbeetle , im a bit confused here , TRI colour is the mostly red one , Right ? what is the mostly white one called ? both have 3 colours !
You are right, even in this official announcement they use both versions; It's spelt both ways on Honda's website - dependant on whether you're on the US or UK instance
The CRF1000L Africa Twin will be available in four colour options: two standard and two Special Edition colours:
CRF Rally Red (SE)
Africa Twin Tricolor (SE)
Digital Silver Metallic
Matte Ballistic Black Metallic
Racing is in Honda’s DNA and the CRF Rally, with its Extreme Red and Victory Red stripes, plus three-tone seat echoes HRC’s CRF450R Rally machine. The Tricolour option pays its dues to the heritage of the original XRV750L Africa Twin, with unmistakable lines and paint to celebrate the machine’s return.
