I did a mental health awareness ride last week - Lots of bikes, open roads, but slow speed (rarely over 80kph). Anyway, with a top-box fitted, my DCT was sipping fuel at 4.2ltr to 100ks (S1 mode selected). I have wondered how far the bike can go at a slow pace, so on 340kms, decided to push on & find out (at a normal pace this time).
421kms on the clock, & I managed to find a gas station. 18.5ltrs to fill - Reckon it would have been dry at 430kms.
So 23.33kms/ltr or 4.4ltr per 100kms. Not a bad range if you can take it easy on the throttle - Hard to do, I know! >:)

I managed 4.1-4.2 on the bike computer for a while, but really have to go grandpa style, also it seems to me
it will consume more fuel when it's cold.
But with highway I'm more around 4.7-5.0, I can't even imagine trying the German highways because
A: it scares the **** out of me 200Km/h
B : I guess a good 8l/100km, so fillup every 200km, i'll skip Autobahns...
