There's a bunch of us in Oz waiting for Tri-colour DCT Bikes and have been told maybe May but nothing concrete. Orders since mid Feb with no solid delivery date 6 weeks later is quite pathetic.

Ordered mine in January, it ships end of May, and I'll probably be OTR sometime in June. And incidentally, I ordered a new car in December, it's on the boat at the moment, and it'll probably be OTR early May.


Buying undesirable vehicles is easy. It's the one's that we have to wait for, that are actually worth the wait!

don't mind having an honestly informed choice of whether to know i'll be waiting or not when I pay a deposit either...

Id change dealers mate, I ordered at start of March and got a week ago. If the dealer is loved by Honda cos they flog more they get preferential treatment!
Just meant I had to travel to pick her up...but Im happy.
Just something for you to consider?

Yep ordered mine early march and it arrives next week! (Hopefully)

I couldn't agree more! Everyone is so instant gratification these days with our smart phones, drive-thru coffee shops, and overnight shipping. I think its cool for a company to build anticipation à la Ferrari. 672 days from ordering to OTR. Lets keep it real, this isn't an organ transplant list we're all on, its a frivolous form of transportation (for ~95% of us) that we're excited about!

Still jealous of everyone outside of the US getting the Tricolour. Put down a deposit for a Rally Red DCT today. ETA from dealer is early June. Time will tell!

Is that a DCT by chance as my date got mi ed to end may June also - from end March / April.

You probably are Phil. I suspect you were allocated one that they had already pre-ordered as regular stock?


Most people who are having to wait a while, myself included, probably didn't order from a dealer who had pre-orders placed. The ordering windows will differ by country too.


I'm a little sad for others and myself having to wait. But I'm not too annoyed by it. At the end of the day it's just circumstances, rather than Honda's fault IMPO. And I'm glad people like yourself are getting theirs - it's all good!

Kestrel in Coventry, can't fault them, real good service from them.
Got a tall screen and heated grips into the deal (although heated grips are on back order)

well done! they've just told me July now. FFS. ANd that was from Honda UK direct sales team after I complained.

Least you got an answer after complaining.
I sent an email to Honda Australia explaining my situation. (long story short, got told 2 weeks delivery when purchasing, now blown out to mid May at earliest, possibly later).

Honda Australia's reply email was. "Can you tell us the VIN of the bike".... Facepalm
No wonder the worldwide release is a shambles.

Lol, did it sound like they outsourced to the Philippines or India or sounds like a an Aussie was on the phone?

I think Honda figured they're at the point they can just release a product and people will buy, they're that developed. Maybe they figured the only promo they'll do is to save the product if it come down to that.
