another MotoGP championship over 😢 however it was a great fun
MotoGP Valencia final race yesterday:
  • Bagnaia clinched the World title 🏆
  • Suzuki checked out with a style P1
  • Jorge Martin is soo good in qualifying, why can't he deliver on Sunday's ?
  • Vale, Ago and F1-F. Alonso on hand to celebrate
  • Ducati wins after 15yr drought
  • M.Marquez riding like mad, hit gravel, DNF
  • Quartararo will be happy and sad, both at the same time, he did a lot with Yamaha this year, the bike was just not fast enough on straights
  • Miller from P4 hit gravel, DNF
  • Great and exciting 2022 championship in all three categories.
  • Morbidelli never recovered from that knee surgery, just can't bounce back, wonder if his days are numbered?
  • Miller will do good in KTM, alongside with B. Binder, they just need the bike in top shape, also Miller needs to keep his falling in check :ROFLMAO: ...lots of bruises to kiss-it-better, for Ruby Mau 💋

Everybody wants for Suzuki to stay, Alex Rins even won yesterday and Mir came at P6 which is amazing, Suzuki is in the top3 of the most competitive machines. It must have been hard for Rins and Mir,
to race knowing this is the end, I'm surprised they did find the motivation.

Mir said:
“I don't know if you saw. I didn't celebrate it. I didn't want to celebrate this last race with Suzuki. Because for me, it's not a happy day,” Mir explained. “We will not work together as a team again, and this makes me sad.”

2023 will look something like this:

Ducati qty 8
Aprilia qty 4
Honda qty 4
KTM/GASGAS qty 4
Yamaha qty 2...are they next, to pull the plug?

Hard to believe Bagnaia was 91 point behind at one point, half way through the championship

I'm glad Bagnaia got the Motogp title for Ducati, clearly the best bikes for this last 2 seasons, and he was the most consistent rider of those bikes. For sure a very talented rider. Kudos to him.
But I'm mystified by the supernatural skills and courage exhibited by Quartararo and Marc Marquez.
The best bike, money can buy it. Hard work and a low dose of bad luck; might make a great rider. I don't know what makes talent at the genius levels.
My best driver for 2022; Quartararo.
Best driver in activity; Marc Marquez.

I loved what Enea Bastianini did this season, most of the time not that good in qualification but at the end of the race made everything good with a lot of overtakes or DNF 😒. One to keep an eye on in the future...

Next year!
No chance, flatters to deceive……doesn’t have the ability to adapt like his rivals AND can only be fast if his bike is exactly what he wants. I predict he will win a race and podium a few times but thats it.

The Beast is one to watch, as well as Bezzi.

Vinales better stayed with Suzuki ( until now🙄).

Thats my opinion also, he needed time to grow with out the pressure of Yamaha. He is really quick but it seems he is his own worst enemy when things do not go his way……I have no idea of the facts inside his team but facts are he is not a world title contender.

Yes your all right but I like rooting for the underdog, in the end just want to see some great racing like we had this year. Not a fan of Marques though, very talented rider of course just don't like him.

Me too (like good racing), the past 6-7yrs in MotoGP have been incredible, such close racing. I remember the days when two guys would battle it out and the rest would be 45+ seconds behind, not any more it is so close. As you can tell I am a Rossi fan BUT first and foremost I am a bike fan, that will always come first! I used to overlook Marquez, some of his moves in the past should of been punished, but on another note I think he is the most talented racer I have ever seen and the championship is much better for it……he is one of the few that can overtake a Ducati.

2023 is going to be epic!

Maverick did very stupid thing, trying to sabotage Yamaha in response to his "unhappiness" I thought nobody will hire him after that embarrassment.

I still don't fully understand when they say: "the bike just didn't fit my riding style"...I mean how different can these bikes really be?
Imagine F14 tomcat pilots crashing because the plane doesn't fit them? Just learn the bike, make changes, adapt... you are the Pro?

It is code for “they wouldn’t do what I want and I adapted as much as I am willing to do but they wouldn’t listen (in his head)”. All riders at that level are ridiculously talented, they can adapt to loads of different bikes BUT they also believe their way is always right…..they have to have that inner belief to do what they do. Problem is when they are not right and/or the factory are only willing to go so far. Mav wanted out years ago when he couldn’t deliver and Fabio was wiping the floor with him on essentially, an older bike. Aprilia will go the same way ‘if’ he doesn’t start beating Aleix. Now that Aprilia know their bike can win the championship - that builds pressure!

I do like Mav, but equally I find him difficult to get. He is even more mercurial than Lorenzo, but unlike Lorenzo (whom was a truly incredible rider) his results are always effected by his ‘mood’ on the day.

Yup, not easy to be "in a team of 2" where the second guys are;
  • Marc M
  • Fabio Q
  • Bagnaia
  • etc
Where absolutely EVERYTHING is measured and expressed in numbers...turn 5,our Data shows you only pressed the brake lever at 76.55% and the optimal for that corner is 77.88%

It's going to be a long winter waiting for the start of the 2023 season. Can't wait for the new team livery and to see how the changes affect the riders. Alex Marquez on a Ducati should be awesome, Mir on Honda, I hope he can come to terms with it and Honda helps him not just Marc. Aprilia new satellite team will be great and what can Miller do on a KTM! oh boy it is going to be awesome!

Big fan of F1 for decades, but yes Liberty turned the F1 into "reality show"....still watch it, but many times holding that FF fast forward PVR button, the last Mexican "race" was all FF.

And they never brought back the pit girls 🤪
We want Bernie back :D

So true! Bring back those grid girls! 🤣
My daughter loves F1 and so I take her to Spa Franchorchamps circuit for a couple of years now to watch the practice and race. It is nice to be there but not that nice as going to a MotoGP race or a WSBK race...

speaking of Spa, did you guys ever get your money back from that cancelled race due to rain?
