Just back, been a stressful day trying to change insurance and get to the Honda dealer before they shut, traffic was horrendous as it was rush hour and I didn't fancy filtering in case something happened to my 2021 that I was trading in. Anyway back now but won't have time to do anything with it until the weekend.

One thing I will say is the 2022 alterations to the DCT are amazing, I didn't have my throttle spacers in and yet it was just as good and probably better than my 2021 was with the throttle spacers, I will decide after a bit more saddle time whether I need to put them in or not.

Looks a bit naked but once I get the bars, bash plate, ezCAN, SC Project etc on it will be looking better :)

If I am honest I much preferred the colour scheme of my 2021 matt black with the red sub frame and red accents on the fairing but once I get the bits and pieces on this I think it will look better still prefer it to the red/white/blue though..

I’ve trusted your judgment on nearly all your posts…now I’m not so sure - you don’t like red/white/blue 😆

I am finally insured (well I hope I am :D )
Spent an hour yesterday trying to get my cover changed but they wouldn't accept the model designation as it didn't chime with their outdated database. Was supposed to go to the dealer and then phone and get dealer to confirm details but couldn't get through so got complimentary 12hr cover from the dealer to get me home. Tried again last night but eventually they said they were closing and would call me first thing in the morning. That never happened so have spent a further 2 hrs on the phone and at the end of it they said they couldn't cover me because the bike was too expensive

So went to Bennetts , cost 1/4 more but at least it is insured and hopefully if any issues arise they will deal with things a bit better seeing as they are supposed to be bike specialists.

It amazes me how much trouble some of us forum members have with getting the bike insured. If I recall correctly, there have been a few posts about insurance providers not being able to properly identify the bike.

Now that you are fully insure I can only assume we will be getting a love story slideshow any moment now... the parts getting installed:love:, the bike getting dirty for the first time:love:, the bike getting washed for the first time:love:, etc, etc, etc...

Nice looking bike!!!

I need to try and humour the skipper of the boat I am supposed to be working on today before I get much use out of the bike.

@Hood Amazing, congrats buddy! Looks like we have ordered the exact same bike (Matte black ATAS, ES DCT) Mine is ready next week.

Few questions given you had a 2021 bike:
  • How is the screen?
  • You specced the deflectors it seems (as have I) - rate them?
  • What SC project is that? I'm eyeing SC Rally Raid and Akrapovic Racing Line

Congrats again! ;)
