I have a 2018 ATAS and purchased the Krooztune 50mm lowering kit - instructions are not real clear and the vendor has yet to provide assistance for questions. Does anyone have personal experience or know the measurements for filing the chamfer on the shock clevis ? Is it 5mm deep and tapering to 2 mm ? --- or is it a srtaight cut ? - or is it a radial cut with a depth of 5 mm and tapering to 2mm? I am looking for the depth of the cut, the length and angle measurements / or radius. Vendor instructions for installation follow:
Installation - Due to the angle of the linkage on the Adventure Sport model it requires a 5mm chamfer to be filed onto the shock clevis to allow clearance. The shock clevis needs to be machined or filed with a chamfer / radius on the front side approx 2 - 5 mm to allow clearance between the linkage and the shock.

Wow! Sorry to hear, but man that doesn’t sound like a well engineered kit, it seems that you shouldn’t have to re-engineer the bike to fit a part that was supposed to be made for it, in my book it would make me question their engineering prowess. I mean, it kinda like saying; our parts eventually WILL fit if you just file your part down.!?!?!?!?! Really? Spent a lot of $$$$ for....

I agree with AT-DRAGON comment. Fact of the matter is that the Vendor does not inform the customer of this issue on the ATAS. You only find out after purchase and receipt of the kit, and you read the instructions. To further exacerbate the issue - the customer must entirely disassemble and machine the internals on the front forks. "CAVEAT EMPTOR" !!! "Let the buyer beware".

Thanks for the info, I am searching for a lowering kit for my AT, so I am not going to buy that kit.
