This is the new Arrow exhaust system for the AT which they are about to release(currently under development). This is only the silencer while the headers(collectors) are still being developed. Prices not yet announced. Not sure what to think of it...

I had a complete system from Arrows on my Yamaha T-Max 530 (also parallel twin, albeit half the size). The pipe was louder, noticeably louder, but the sound was not meatier by any means. Sold it a couple of weeks later.

Of all the exhausts I had in recent years (Arrows on T-Max, Two Brothers on KTM 990, Akrapovic on KTM 990 and BMW F800 GS, Beowolf on Tiger 800 XCx and Leo Vince on Varadero and Transalp 700) Beowolf sounded best.

I would be happy to buy it again, this time for AT, but they do not have one on offer :frown2:

Leo Vince is number two on my list and this is what I will probably buy as soon as it becomes available (slip-on only, carbon version).

I have always been a fan of Termignoni. I was in fact close to buying their complete system for my Yamaha, but for financial reasons chose Arrows instead :frown2:

However, in this particular case (AT) I do not think that Termignoni is in any way exceptional, particularly for the price that they are asking. It is loader than stock, but does it sound any better. IMHO no.

I think that the AT exhaust sounds good (better than most stock exhausts anyway), so if I decide to change it (I did mention Leo Vince) it will be more just for the fun of farkling than any other reason :grin2:

Post photographs - particularly from the back, to asses "space saving".

A video with sound would also be welcome :smile2:

PS.
If you opt for a slip-on only, weight saving is approx. 2 kg.

Hi, has anybody stripped all the plastic and steel coverings on the stock exhaust by any chance and got a photo in that state? Wondering if it might not look better. I've removed the rear foot pegs so protection from heat is not an issue.

I've been swaying back and forth between the Arrow titanium race system and the Termi one. I like the way that the Arrow sits higher and love the blue colour that the Ti down pipes turn. Buuuut, a mere gain of 2bhp is a tad tough to swallow for shelling out £1100. The Termi is old school cool looking with a modern twist in the shape of the end can. Its output gain is slightly more than twice the Arrows for a tad less money. If I just go for an end can, I think the Akropovic looks the best from an asthetic perspective where it meets the plastic cat cover.

Both of the systems look really good , so i think that the price should decide which one to go for .
I personally like the look of the Spark system , but i have never heard of them before so not sure about the quality .
The Remus muffler its not bad but it does not look right with the original headers , i wonder if the arrow headers are compatible with the remus silencer .

I've never gone down this route before but if it were can only I would go Akra and if it were Full Monty I would go Termi. So much the same as you (until I see an Akra full system that is).

So let us know how you get on! But, in a corollary to your position, I'm getting the tubeless wheels first! Before I add sound and power I want less violent deflation and easier fixing whilst on tour!
