Hey everyone I am new to the Forum and to these style bikes. I have owned a YZ125 and a Suzuki marauder 800. I am interested in getting a duel-sport/endro/adventure bike. with my limited knowledge I really not sure what the difference in the three. but I like to ride and get outdoors but I need something that could be a daily ride to work and easy enough to travel with a RV.

dual sports and enduros are quite similar, both based on MX, dual sports can and usualyl are more road focused then a pure enduro... ADV's are their own breed...

Whats great aboutt he AT, is Honda based it off the CRF... so you get the skinnyness of the DS/MX/Enduro, but the power and size of a larger ADV...
Thanks @Nessuno ! That is pretty much what I am picking up. I am not scaredof the power but I am concerned with the size and weight of the bike for controllability.I stand at a whopping 5'7" 180lbs and I like to ride bikes and not feellike they are riding me.
I hope that I am worrying about nothing because I really like everything Iam seeing on this AT 1000!!
Hi, just wondering what your inseam is? Overall stature may not be as important as inseam. If you can ride a YZ125 I think you will be fine.

hey welcome to the boards bob!
Inseam is like a 30-32ish! (it was so hard not to respond in poor taste):0 It is more the weight that I am thinking of that I may not be able to throw it around like I could the YZ125.
