Hello,



My bike has around 1600kms now and is equipped as followed.

CRF Rally DCT

Honda accessoires:
-Alarm
-12V
-Center stand
-High screen

Touratech accessories:
-Fairing crash bar
-Engine crash bar
-Engine skid plate
-Large footrests
-Handlebar risers 2cm
-Tankbag Ambato, big one
-Zega pro 2 panniers, 31 and 38ltr
-Topcase rack (topcase 38ltr not yet delivered)
-Front fork springs
-After suspension spring
-Headlight protector in Macrolon

-Oxford heated grips.

Hi Poely.

Can we get a photo from the rear to show how wide the panniers are compered to the handle bars?

Hope to get my red DCT early next month and I'm getting the Zega Mundo panniers (31 & 38ltr) and the Zega Pro top box (38ltr).

Front:
-Handguards are 94,5 cm wide.

Back:
-Overall width is 101,5 cm.
Right side: 31ltr extends 52,5cm from center.
-Left side: 38ltr extends 49cm from center.

( it's worth to check out how far the 45ltr would extend from center before buying)

Your bike must be like a unicorn for the TT shop. The so far terrible delivery dates they offer, you still managed to get all the gear from them. Well done.

I've only so far managed to pick up the top and bottom bars, big foot (which is terrible, keeps bending and I keep having to fix it) and a tank bag.

STILL waiting for the skid plate, which TT said to me today "sorry, still got to wait for those" basically don't have delivery date...

-My first parts were available 19 April.

-The panniers came in on 26 May.
TT seems to have started production again.
I've heard they moved into a new production site and had some delays.
Topcase not yet avaliable.

- I have the 'works' long distance footpegs.
Salesman said that these fixed ones were better than the pi ot ones. They can only move upwards and are still good.

- Forgot to mention I also got the side stand extender and rear brake fluid reservoir protector.
Apparently the TT salesman honors his title. :)

Did you go heavier or lighter with the fork springs? If heavier, is the rebound adjustability suitable with the stock valving?

I replaced the springs with Touratech/Hyperpro progressive springs.

I noticed not much difference under normal riding circumstances.
I am sure it's a little bit better but don't expect a huge difference.
Still don't know for sure if it was worth the cost. Front maybe but at the back I think it's better to replace the whole suspension unit if you decide to put money on the table.

The bike seems to dive a little less under heavy breaking.
Did not load the bike heavy enough to comment on after spring.

Thanks Poely. Saw the AT for the first time this past Thursday. Very little front fork spring sag compared to the back spring. Certainly this means nothing with no miles on the odometer.

Going tomorrow for another look and an attempt to negotiate some acceptable numbers.

I went with pivot's. I feel they are more comfortable.
For for the extender - give your review once you've taken it for a few rides. Mine falls apart. Having to keep repairing and bending the top plate back down... Massive pain in the backside.

Send it back.
Yeah my local TT shop knows I'm annoyed. I can take it back, I'm just waiting for new stock to arrive to see if it's any different.
I love this 2 years guarantee BS in Germany. You can basically take anything back to the shop for a refund if it breaks within 2 years and it's not user fault.

The Salesman advised me not to go for the pivot ones as I am a 95% road user at this moment.

He also said that it's better to wait with pivot ones until I was used to ride off road and standing up.
I must admit that standing up on steady footpegs is more reassuring at this moment.
I'll wait and see if I can testride pivot ones before buying them as I have no idea how pivot ones feel.

As for selling 'his' brand: he sells them both at the Touratech shop and they are both in the TT catalogue.
Or he looks longterm and knows I'm going to by both after all. :)

I'm interested to know where you are because I was told by TT that the crash bars were going to take 10 weeks to come!
