Hi new to the forum and the Africa twin (or any adventure bike) as waiting to pick up new adventure sport dct in the next week or so and can’t wait as like a kid at Christmas 😁 looking forward to some trips in the uk was thinking Wales would be a good start. Hope to get some ideas and knowledge from the forum in the near future cheers Andy

Wonder why you have to wait to pick up the bike? Is the process different over there or ??
In most US shops you spend about an hour messing around with sales and finance then its all yours. Usually a one day process unless its not at the location.

Often here dealer will not have a new bike on the floor, especially the higher value ones, only demo bikes. That means if you want one they will place an order to Honda UK and it will get delivered, usually within a few days but that may depend on what day the normal delivery is, so if you miss it you have to wait until the next week.
You guys are correct the dealer only had a demo bike he said the bike would be in about a week but I have added some extras and he said depending on availability on them no later than the 25th March ordered last Friday so ok with me ( will give me time to make my gate wider as it would not fit as it is 😂)
Welcome to the forum, good choice. It is a better bike than any of our skills, so be cautious, it will tempt you

I ordered my bike and waited like 2 months for delivery.
But before bike arrived, I already had the Service Manual, and some accessories.
My work colleagues was pestering me, saying I had the horse saddle before got the horse.
