Hi, I'm a 45 year young guy from Sweden planning to buy my first AT adventure sport either from 2020 or 2019.
I am struggling as many other with the decision for DCT or not...

Welcome to the Forum HP.

Both are good choices. I chose DCT for its convenience in heavy urban use.

HappyPuppy welcome here I know what you mean I was also sceptic about the DCT I said to the Dealer I will try it and if I don,t like I will look futher that was end of 2016. 3 weeks later I bought the DCT. If money is no issue go for the DCT ES you will get an amazing bike. But before you buy make tested rides on both versions DCT/Manual and 2019\2020. Good luck with your choice
