Hi guys

Finally got rid of the stock tryes, I fitted Michelin Anakee wilds to her, rear Ohlins and front cartridge fitted also with fat fooker springs.
Looking forward to some days out in the jungle with her shortly, took her for a 40 min blast on some dirt trails and what a difference, very happy with tyres and the suspension, few tweaks yet on the Ohlins needed.

Cheers Jake

Looks great! What spring rates did you end up going with for the Ohlins?

Man ohlins is the way to go… mind me asking what the total front and rear cost was?
Front fork costs around $3500 and the shock is about $1500

I would likely go cartridge kit + rear shock. While I know it would change the bike, that’s still $2,500+ towards a lighter bike build (500) that I should actually be jumping lol.

Ok just got my anakee wilds installed, and rode home from the shop. They feel taller, and less precise in turning than the stock tires, but stickier feeling. The knobs feel like they move around a tiny bit when you turn or stop, will take some getting used to that’s for sure.

My TKC70 Rocks rear tyres felt like it was squirming about so did some testing with different pressures, I settled on 270kPa( 39psi approx) and they now feel great.

Thanks man, I’ll play with my pressures today to see how it affects the handling
Ok now that i have a few hundred miles of mixed riding under my belt, i must say im really impressed by this tire! Handles hi speeds on the highway, blasting in the canyons, and on my local fire road with ease. My new favorite tire set for sure
