I got crushed on an AT Facebook thread for an unrelated honest question, so I'll try my luck here. With panniers and loaded with gear (tent, dry-bag, et al.), how much additional air-pressure should I add to my tires?

Stock pressure from the manual is 29 front / 36 rear.
With a loaded bike (depending on the rating on the sidewall of your tire), I've increased the rear pressure to 42 psi (max loaded capacity for Avon TrekRider). I left the front since that was close to max loaded pressure anyhow.
I'd only increase the pressure if you're doing a lot of highway riding. Not much benefit when doing gravel roads.

I agree with superfunkamatic, I leave the front alone at 29 psi, and then use the pillion passenger pressure of 41 psi as a guide depending on load. So based on a typical adult of 80kg, with my long haul load is around 40 kg ( 90 lb) I typically run around 38-39 psi on blacktop, something less on gravel. Hope this helps
