Hi everyone,
Well you guessed why I'm here......
Yep ordered the AT DCT and pick it up March the 1st...
After riding bikes for 38 years with a clutch I thought it's time for a change:grin2:
To be honest I have a deposit on the new triumph 1200 xca as I'm an explorer owner at the moment and been extremely happy with it and had some great adventures on it, especially in Morocco..... But I took the AT out a couple of weeks ago and fooking loved it. I really want to do some more off roading and found the triumph a bit too heavy for me. Also what helped change my mind is the price tag of the new triumph is £16,000 + or so I've heard !!!!! The DCT model is £11,200 so I'm thinking with a saving of nearly £4,000 that will take me on one **** of an adventure :wink2:
Yes my triumph is more powerful, but who needs 130+ bhp on an adventure bike I was more than happy with the power of the AT a mere 94 bhp is gonna be more than plenty for this old boy on and off road.......
Look forward to finding out more on here about this bike and the accessories there might be for it.
Oh and I've never owned a Honda.......
Cheers everyone
