I never sell the standard can..... I'd rather put it back on when it comes time to sell and sell the aftermarket pipe.

You can obviously do what you want, it's your bike. Personally, I'd never buy a bike with an aftermarket can fitted without the oe can available with it. The non oe can may not be suitable for passing the mot for instance. But that's just me. Good luck with the sale.
