Hi everybody,

I'm from Portugal-Porto,
just got my red AT last week (numbered #58 in Portugal)

Got ride of the front mudguards and screen decals,
and blackned (powder coating) it a bit (crash bars, panniers, exhaust, carter protection).
Made provisional TomTom Rider GPS mount.

Here some photos of my first real offroad ride this weekend.

It's an awesome motorcycle. I'm, delighted.

Olá Lobo Mau,

that trip master is placed in an awkward place. Is it because of the gps?
Like that stealth look (panniers and bashplate).
Crashbar is from Honda also?

Mine is tricolour. #42.

Olá António,

Yes the tripmaster is provisionally placed in an awkward place.
The GPS is also in a temporary mount and power connection.
I'm designing and will produce a proper mount in a more appropriate place.

but was in an hurry to ride and use the GPS.

Yes, Crash bar and panniers are from Honda, both black powder coated by me.

Allo Bartho,

Good, if beginning of August maybe we could meet here and ride the ATs.

Last two weeks of August I will ride the AT to Scotland Highlands

Looks better in black ;-) For the tripmaster, did you receieved it and if yes did you received the remote control?
Yes, I received the remote control, it's installed in the left side of handlebar.
Tripmaster will be relocated to position near de GPS, and in Vertical orientation (!!! yes :surprise:!!!).

From what you write, I gather that the decals are not painted over with a layer of clear paint. If this the case, than ....

Never mind :(

Stickers on the fairing and mudguard have not clear paint and are easy to remove.
Used a simple hair dryer, and it was very easy.

Stickers on the tank have clear paint. I will not try to remove that white L, but I would like to remove it.

So if you wish to wash the bike with a pressure washer (e.g. Karcher), you not only need to stay away from the chain, bearings, electrics and the radiators, but also from the plastics :frown2:

Not much bike left to wash :wink2:
