Picked up two brand new bikes for work. Both with only 2 miles on the clock. A Crf1000 2017 and the other a yamaha Fjr1300 2017. Rode both home together swapping half way like you do but when we arrive back to base the yamaha has recorded 80 miles the Honda recorded 101 miles. Something is amiss here. The speed is spot on but ridden miles way off on one and I'm hoping it's the yamaha that's got it wrong as I ride the Honda. Anyone had issues with recorded miles.?

My speedo reads fast compared to the gps, around 2-3mph out at 30 and 6mph at 70, but the odometer oddly enough is much closer to elapsed miles on the gps.

Just Google map your ride, get directions from your point A to B and see which it is.
My Speedo over-reads by 9% across all speeds but the odo is accurate
