Direct to battery, that and my Oxford Hot grips are pretty much the most I would like to get directly on the battery, what a pain in the arse to get too and really tight for routing. If you take off the plastic strip below the tank on the left hand side it is easier to route the cable under the frame and have it pop out under the seat. If I started again i would of gone with an Eastern Beaver or something similar, that way I only would have to touch that bloody battery once!
