Hi, i fitted a barkbuster handguard a week ago. I installed the extra bit for the parking brake lever as per the instructions. Wasn’t easy but with the help of the forum it worked eventualy.
it was all ok until yesterday. Parked the bike on a hillside and when I released the parking brake the light for the brake is still illuminated on the dashboard. I applied the parking brake and released it a few times switched the engine on and off a few times and the control light is on. I visually checked the switch it seems mechanically it’s ok. When the lever is apllied the switch is out position when released it is pushed in position. I pushed it in with a screwdriver as much as possible and still the light stays on.
i can only think of a faulty switch. Any other ideas?
