Picking up my AT this Saturday and the dealer Johns of Romford Essex in the UK say it is the last they can get this year.

I am picking mine up this week also. It is the red one. I was told exactly the same and that made my mind up for me despite it not having ABS. Now to find bits for it ......

Thats funny.....I was told the same as well. The last DCT they said.......personally I think there are more around than we are led to believe.

I was told that if a dealer has one and it is not sold, another dealer could request it if they have a customer wanting one

My understanding is that the shortage is entirely due to the earthquake that recently hit one of the Honda factories in Japan.

Short Supply

My dealer has said there are 5 on there way to the uk now of which he has secured two, there all manuals, after these 5 there will be no more manuals or DCT for a year. Due to the earthquake, I had ordered a Tri color DCT but am now getting a Tri color Manual so I can have it this year 1st week of June I have been told, and I will have a favorable price on a trade in when the DCT is available again.

You would think Honda would put a higher percentage of their production capacity into what everybody seems to want....the Africa Twin. This kind of interest is something Honda should feed on while it's at fever pitch. Seems there is a lot of new Adventure riders out there.

The dealer I bought from still has the Manual tri colour demo and was waiting for a DCT demo. Honda have told him he will be unlikely to see it this year now.
Surprised to see a manual tri colour on bike trader with 1500 miles (I think) at £9500! . Will lack of supply bolster used prices ? .... Doesn't look like it .
