Having noted the problems some. Are having with the Set switch unit going down is there anything I can do to protect the unit on my new bike.

My first switch had the sticky SET button and I fired a load of WD40 into it and it freed it up completely for several months. It then got sticky again, so I repeated the dousing which again eradicated the problem. But as I had reported the problem to my dealer, I had a new cluster fitted about last November. So far, so good.

Will give it a go. It was wondering if ACF50 would be any good or might cause a problem.

I have treated both switch sets with ACF50. Nothing appears to be sticking so hopefully that will keep it all happy. If not I can always give it a blast of WD.

I just gently dripped a small amount of AC50 long side the switches and let it soak in and wooed the excess off.

Thanks for the feed back.
Switch has just started to stick after 24,000km.
I'll try some WD40 on it.
Bike goes in for its service in a couple of weeks.
