Hello guys, does anybody know what is the actual difference between 2020 model quickshifter unit and 2022 model quickshifter unit. Somehow the older one is twice as expensive as the newer one is. And I happen to own a 2020 model.

The difference is less parts, upgraded the cable material and the attachment to the body sensor was improved.
You reuse the lower lever, and the rod nuts. There is a new shorter rod, and the upper lever.
In some FB group a guy claims he installed the '22 QS to a '21 AT, and it was a direct fit.
I asked him to make a post about it, to confirm and show everybody.
Mi AT is a 22, and I installed.
Great Gadget. Very Happy.

Good, at the end of the way my goal wold of been to learn if there was a specific reason why the 2022 QS would not fit to a 2020 AT. And now If I understood correctly then the new one is and improved version of the old one minus gear shifting lever. But are the Electronic parts of them similar and olso the connector it has attached to it...

Yes. The old one the wires was breaking at the exit from the body sensor.
Wires was without motion relief, attached to the body, and the constant shifting was breaking them.
Search this topic. Plenty of info here.
New one I think will last. They fixed nice.
Electronics and Connector unchanged.
Can you post the part # for the 2022 quick shifter?

The only one I can find listed on the US Honda site is PART#: 08U70-MKK-D01, which is the older one for the 2020-2021 models.

Thanks.

Do you have to buy a 2022 shifter lever to make the 2022 quickshifter fit the 2020 model then?
No. Order the QS only. It will fit right away.
Anyone tried this on a 2020 model yet?

works like a charm
that is all what you'll get in "updated" version of quickshifter
the rest components should be taken from the old pedal

I’ve ordered one from Webike too! Did the instructions come in Japanese?

You normally don't get instructions with any accessory but rather a web link to them.

... or an equivalent QR scan code image.

" ... Grandpa, just scan the QR code."

"Huh, my sweet child? What silliness do you speak of now?"
Does anybody know if this would work on a 2018 adventure sport?

This should be an easy answer for a respective quickshifter owner.
