How many of you have noticed how easy the rear passenger/grab handle rack chips revealing black underneath. I noticed a small mark tonight and I know I have caught it a few times with my boot. With the height of the bike and tired legs this is surely going to have to take a few knocks. I am 6 foot and have a 33 inside leg so I am not short?. Should be more durable finish.

Ah well first of many marks I am sure and nothing major to christen the bike with just slightly annoying.

Yes indeed that is the case and not a very hard one Every now and again the manufacturer make silly choices, this and the spoke issue seems to be the ones this time around. So we have to live with the fact that it's painted to look like metal instead of actually being metal or at least impregnated plastic with the colour when it was manufactured. So what colour is it then, a gun metal grey, will have to look for a good touch up., I won't be alone.

However did 153 of the best miles I have ever ridden today, what a brilliant bike.

In Australia, Super Cheap Auto carry a touch up paint pen that matches perfectly. Yes, I have had the same thing happen as you are describing.

The pen to grab is called Tungsten Pearl Metallic HCTH36-C made by HOLTS ph 1800 0021 106.

I kid you not, the colour match is perfect!!!! I was shocked how good it was once I got it home and tried it!

Cheers

Wadeo

Keep the shiny side up!
