Before leaving in early April for a 20,000km ride throughout Europe, North Africa and the Balkans, I developed a rear rack for the CRF 1000. It is 4,8mm thick aluminum and powder coated with a thin wrinkle finish. The rack is designed with pre-drilled holes to accept a Rotopax fuel blader (1.75 gallon pictured below), and is also predrilled for Givi mounting pins. Some people even mounted a Holan top box. The fit was perfect.

A dozen units of the pre-production batch are already being used in France, and they were introduced to Honda dealers with great comments. I just made a small batch of 20 units to test a new powder coat. Intro price is $120.00cad each.
