Do people change the front caliper bolts every time the calipers are removed,as Honda say you should,or not?If not, what torque do you use on the old bolts when refitting? I am wondering whether to reuse or replace with some other type such as Pro Bolt when I need to remove the calipers.

Good question Stormcat, yes in the Workshop Manual on page 19-18 it says
"Install and tighten new brake caliper mounting bolts to the specified torque" "45Nm"
What it doesn't say is whether they should or should not be replaced each time.
I'm sure this is just the Manufactures being ultra cautious.
In reality this is impractical, as motorcycle workshops would need to carry thousands of dollars worth of just Caliper Bolts, let alone the tire shops as they also need to remove the calipers every time you fit a new tire or get a front flat.
I myself have had the OE bolts off more than a dozen times for different reasons, never replaced bolts and no problems.
