Honda will offer 3 different seat heights! The Low Seat is 82 cm and the Extra Tall Seat is 90 cm

I have sent Honda this thread, they are currently insisting that the seat adjusts from 870mm down to 850mm and deny knowledge of an alternate high and low option - despite they themselves dishing out this data on the options sheets at the recent shows

It's like pulling teeth. What has happened to Honda? No continuity in what they tell the Customer

Last time I visited the dealer, they asked if I'm sure I want standard seat. They wanted to order me a taller one.

There must be lack of communication between Honda and dealers, as in Portugal they told me that there is no options for seats heights.....

Seems Honda Motor Europe is more on the ball then Honda UK and Honda Portugal...

Kindda funny. When I first went to see the bike at the dealer here (Canary Islands, Spain) around Jan 15th, they just knew about the three sizes of seats available, not the two positions on each one.
Teething matters, nothing important.

My dealer had a low seat in the showroom. They had it fitted when I walked in. I tried it, but found that it had an odd shape that put pressure on my inner thighs. The dealer swapped the seat over as I'm 6ft - put the normal one on. I hopped back on and it was completely different. Comfortable and very plush. Interestingly, the dealer said that I wasn't the first to make a comment about the low seat.

A friend also rode the bike on another day. Despite being only (!) 5ft 5, he had no issue with the standard seat. The centre of gravity is low and the bike isn't too heavy.

So, firstly they are certainly offering at least the low seat. Secondly, you'd be advised to try before you buy.

Hello,
I´m from Portugal an I have my AT three weeks ago.
It´s a Black one and I have the hig seat.
With that is easier to move front and back during the ride... but I need a taller windscreen!

Did you add risers to the handle bar? Adjusted standard handle bar position (more forward) to be able to ride stand up and reach the levers well?

I'm around those adjustments with mine now...

I did not change anything else, for while!
I have few kilometers on the bike, but I think I will change the handlebar by a flat one in a close future! I just need to check if there is enough room to the handlebar not touch the windscreen when we reach the limits for left and right position!
I´m looking for handlebar options for this bike in the market...

I've only rode mine for two times also, 305km (185 first and 120 on the second day). The raining days we have now in PT do not help also. This saturday the weather will be nice. If you are near Lisbon I'll be riding (only tarmac for now) in Arrábida after lunch and you are welcome to join.

My red AT DCT (ETA March 2016) will come with "high seat". Unfortunately Honda does not allow any configuration - you need to buy the original and accessory of your choice.

Rox Risers are sitting in the garage, just in case.

I do not plan to change the windscreen height. I did however order the dark version - again as an accessory to the original.

I doubt you will need risers. I am 185cm tall and found the bar/seat/peg relationship very relaxed.

My length is 1.90m and did some seat test on the AT. No problem what so ever with the seat height, bar height etc. But waiting on the 1st test ride.

Where did you found the rox risers here in PT? I already seem those also on Erey's bike.
