Yeah, that's odd @Cuchulainn. Never thought it would feel hotter. There is no provision for humidity, ah well. However, this I definitely believe:

I think around 115 is the hottest that Sara and I have ridden in on a group ride. We couldn't believe how much hotter the air felt when we were moving vs not. You usually think "Man it's hot, but it's better when you are moving.". Not always the case.

If there is humidity, you want to be moving.

It was 106 today on my way home. I worry about the engine sometimes but then I'm like.... Wait. I'm on an Africa twin! The radiators are pretty big. I run 100% synthetic liqui Molly off-road blend as well as engine ice. The fan doesn't kick on at stop lights so I don't think she minds. But it's deffinantly hot out ware I live.
