What else are you looking at besides the CRF1000?

Not got an Africa Twin, but I do have a CRF. It's a CRF450X with full Ohlins suspension and Akrapovic exhaust (and other bits) that I used for trail riding but then not used for about 8 years. I'm thinking of upgrading my 450 to a 1000 just to include some gentle off roading. No longer any desire to throw myself at impossible rocky climbs, but I still yearn for something away from the tarmac and although rather dismissive of the AT when first announced, I'm becoming rather enamoured by it.
So, won't be immediately and have to see how my current stuff sells, but a CRF1000 is definitely on the cards for a slot in my garage.

As an alternative to the AT? Nothing. I think it makes sense to move from my CRF450 to the CFR1000 for gentle off-roading and on road usage as well.
