Picked up my '25 AT DCT STD a few months ago and I finally had some time to research which engine crash bars I would like to purchase. Nothing too crazy in terms of my type of riding off the slab, just basic low key dirt, gravel and fire trails.
I am pretty sure I want to go with these engine crash bars made by Touratech:
The way they mount is somewhat robust and it appears they will offer decent lower protection on both sides especially for the right-side where the DCT unit is.
The ability to add the upper crash bars relatively easily at a later date is also appealing.
Lastly the fact that they are made in Germany also is a plus to me even though they are bit on the pricey side for what they are.
My question is, does anyone on this forum currently have these mounted on their '24/'25s and if so what are your opinions?
