Collected UK Trip Master no 256, today along with the commemorative book.
The book I want but the Trip Master is useless to me personally.
If anyone would like to make me an offer, I would consider selling it.
Seems better to be used than put away in the loft to gather dust.

There's one on eBay already.....£199.
Wow:surprise:, I bought a similar unit for my bicycle for GBP 15.50, it has a wired handle bar control, and every function of the Tripmaster barring the oil change, but does have a temp gauge and the sender on the front fork is wireless. Obviously the TripMaster is more robust but 200 quid sheeeze. /Oldmanrant

It was FREE guys, :wink2:

I had mine fitted when they did the other accessories , Don't really think I'll be using it much though, Even when I've found out how it works :grin2: ( mine is 222 )

Funny how people will whinge even when given something free. :)

Personally I'm looking forward to having a much more accurate speedometer that I can see without taking my eyes off the road, the Honda one is off by 10 kph at expressway speeds. And the maintenance odometer will be handy too.

Come on True Ad Venture not whinging just pointing out what these things really are, they wouldn't be giving them away if they had any true value. Really if you were to have a second odometer unit then surely a GPS would be far more useful than this product.

If people like it fine, I have no problem with that but it is 99% redundant before it's even out of the box, a bit like a stick-on digital clock on a car dash I suppose.

It's a 300 euro rally computer that's sold commercially for use on competition bikes. That company wouldn't be in business if they were useless, although I will grant you that weekend warriors probably won't much value in them on their trips to Starbucks. Honda gave them away as an incentive to buy this brand new bike. Worked for me.... Looking forward to not having to glance down at my GPS to see my true speed on the non-map screen and being able to set my maintenance intervals. :smile2:

I thought the windscreen bar was the best slot for a GPS so you didn't have to look down, but as I don't actually have mine yet I'm only guessing.

I was wandering... Is the trip computer a free gift only for the first 300 world wide or first 300 in any given country? (I live in Canada and waiting for my AT to be here end of May) My dealer told me nothing about it.
