Anyone hear of Tripmasters and 80 pg book being offered by Honda in UK/ France for first pre-orders of AT?

I have written Honda Powersports US and they are not aware of Tripmasters for US customers. I preordered 11/6 AT DCT, can't wait for the day it arrives. Any other US preorders out there wishing we had the tripmasters?:crying:

Same for Switzerland (not in EU). Tripmaster will arrive in January with the book.

We will see if the book is the same as the one we received in Milano.

And in Switzerland the first order received a +2 years warranty.

Just got my Belgian AT. Should come with tripmaster and book, but none of them has arrived yet...

I highly doubt that we get any free Tripmaster or the book here in Finland. Tripmaster can be found on the AT accessories list with 530€ pricetag!
I try to remember ask this thing next weekend, there is a MP16 bike show in Helsinki.

I don't need it, but I could sell it... :grin2:

My dealer says that the first 100 AT,s sold in Belgium get the tripmaster and the book ,
but they come mid February,

I picked the AT up last Friday, but the dealer had no idea if and when we would get the Tripmaster, your guess is as good as mine he said! sounds about right!! :frown2:

Going to pick up the AT today , she is ready with all the accessories that I ordered, but the tripmaster and book are arriving in April says my dealer ,

I saw her yesterday, and am happy that I chose the tricolour , so up to the first 1000 km now . :wink2::wink2::wink2:

What is the advantage of a tripmaster when you have a good gps? Simply asking because I find this tripmaster quite big.

I think it is of no use. It gives you some information that is already on the display (clock, tripmaster, speed) and has some features like a counting down tripmeter.... It is usefull to people who use a classic road-book, at least if you have the reset button at the handlebars. It's nothing more than a wannahave, to rally-addicts...

Would I spend 300 euros to buy one? No. Will I use the one I'm getting for free. Definitely. The speedometer is much more accurate than the bike's and the larger numbers are easy to read right in your line of sight. The odometer might be more accurate as well. The oil change interval setting and two extra trip meters should also be useful.
