Just got the tripmaster (or whatever its called) but wanted to know has anyone had one fotted yet?

There wasn't a piece of paper in the box with a web address for an installation guide? It's easy to fit.

Thanks for the link. Easy enough to fit but i wanted to keep the crossbar free for a satnav as that looks like (for me) a good location to have it. Saves looking down to the handle bars every time.

In Portugal the dealers fit the tripmaster for free... and it take a long time!

By the way a have a problem: a lot of time (but not always) when i push she starter button the tripmaster resets itself.

Has anyone else having this problem??

That looks like the speedo setting to me.

The photos are only to show the TripMaster installed, not to explain the problem TrueAD

When it resets turning on the engine i lose the partial distance, the clock and al the rest

check the batteries aren't dead.
it has two little batteries in it for when the ignition is off, they can last a few weeks or months. pop some new ones in and that should fix it.

Thanks Hub!! I thought about it but wasn't so sure about that because the TM is brand new.

Anyway i'll try to install new batteries, I can't think about any other issue at the moment.

Changed the battery with a new one CR2032 the TripMaster has gone well for two days.

Yesterday i have washed the bike. After that it started going crazy like the down button was always pressed and after 10-15 minutes has died.

I don't know what to think, i'll re-check the power connector but i'm starting to think that it's an economical version of the real tripmaster...
