They look amazing in the screenshot but it does raise a concern in my mind. Will I be tall enough to ride it comfortably without having to lower it? I'm 5 foot 6 and the ergonomic aspects of the Africa Twin is a big concern of mine.

I have had similar thoughts, on the opposite side though....will I look like grape ape riding it? how big is it?

I'm 6'-3" but I look like a giant on a KLR.....I fit nicely on my Super Tenere....

It may be tough out of the box but hopefully you can find a lower seat and maybe some lowering links for the rear suspension. Better yet just keep the throttle pinned as your name suggests and you should be fine.:grin2:

I'll just have to find out when the AT is available. And if it can't be lowered, I'll go with your suggestion but only over the perfect ditch.

That height sure seems like it could be an issue come time to finally sit on an AT. Anyone know of a bike that might come in close enough to the AT?

Honda's not dumb, they see BMW raking in $20 G's per bike and they want a slice...make it easy as possible to gain conquests, dont change the fundamentals

Might be safe to say that someone that short could have a problem or is boarderline with a height that could have problems. Usually its where a lot of concern is.

your main issue is going to be standover height IMO. may neeed to look into lower seats or lowering worst case...

Not sure how much I can lower the seat without affecting comfort. I guess I won't know until I've tested it out but it would be nice to hear from someone around my height.
