I have a fear of drowning my ATwin. All of the vids I’ve watched on starting a drowned bike have you remove plugs and spin back wheel in 2nd or 3rd gear. How could you do this when the bike is in neutral when not running?

Carry the appropriate size allen and socket to remove the little cap to the crank and give it a turn from there. I suppose you also just give the starter button a quick poke.
Anyway, with dct you also have the problem not being able to bump start, for the same reason.

Am I being really thick?
Surely the water would've to be bloody deep to drown an AT? Ive managed to drown a Fireblade before so I know how easy it is. But The inlets for the AT seem quite high?
River crossing I suppose, what you planning on crossing mate?

Not planning on drowning it but I didn’t plan on drowning my last bike either. Just wondering what the steps were to get it running. Thanks for the replies. Dan-O
