Windscreen Alternative for CRF 1100 A/L

Hi AT community,
I have the standard model and want a better windscreen for touring.
I note that with the ’22 Adventure sport model they reduced the screen height from the ‘21 model and this looks like a much better alternative to both the almost non-existent CRF1100A/L screen and the ridiculously high ‘21 Adventure Sport screen. I’m 5’10“ and found a huge difference when I tucked my head down about 4 or so inches on the freeway - the buffeting disappeared and it was calm in that position.
My questions -
1. How are you ‘22 Adventure Sport owners finding their factory screen on the highway? Is it providing adequate shielding?
2. What alternatives have people found that work well on their standard 1100?
3. Does anyone have any experience with the WRS screens and if so - which particular model? (They seem to have 3 different sizes).

Looks like V Stream or WRS is the consensus winner? How are they with wind noise?
Im 6'1 on a 22 AT AS, the wind noise makes it impossible to listen to music with my cardo, so Im looking for solutions
Medium/Tall VStream (with or without the Batzen extender) is "fair to good".

But, how does your helmet cope?
Who needs a windscreen anyway…

Like the yellow visor, I have the E1 but have never seen coloured visors for them before
You get plenty of options, tints, iridium, yellow, orange etc.

Yes, I'm now looking for a better windscreen for my 2022 AT Standard. I have a nice Sena Outreach R Bluetooth helmet for music/comms with other riders that sounds great until I go over 50mph than I struggle hearing. I'm slightly hearing impaired also. So looking for a windscreen that will help buffeting at the higher speeds.

Been reading here but still don't see no clear winner? I'm 6'2" if that helps. Currently looking at the Givi D1179 that's 6.3" higher than stock & Honda OEM 08R70-MKS-A00 that's 6.8" higher than stock. Plus interested in the Tourtech (thank you forum members) except it's only about 1" higher than the Honda and $90 more. And honestly I don't want a super high windscreen. I want to stay with-in these three (3) specs.

It would be easier to speed $300 more for a Sena Stryker Bluetooth helmet with blasting Harman Kardon speakers but then I'll still have the buffeting issues. If anyone is using anyone of these three (3) windscreens I mentioned (hard of hearing a plus) I'd like to hear your feedback. Thanks!

In terms of screen height flexibility, you could consider the Batzen adjustable riser:

As somebody who suffers from lifelong tinnitus, more volume from your communicator is definitely not the answer here. I use earbuds with Comply (noise blocking) foam tips with a Freecom 4x and don't need to crank the volume in order to hear music, other rides, and phone calls well...

I'm the same height as you and I too would like a slightly taller windshield for my '20 ATAS.

Now this looks interesting! I need to look into a bit more. But I can do everything as before with my Senna Outreach R helmet i.e. communicating with my Honda, music, answering phone calls, google maps, Bluetooth to my Android phone etc etc etc? And hear everything "CLEARLY" with the 40mm JBL earbuds to boot? Boy I'd like to see this system before I throw $300 at it...... Thank you
I have the OEM Honda tall clear windshield. It blocks a lot of blast to the chest and is good in cold weather. I'll put the original short screen (used to be called a speed screen) back on for hot weather and let the Shoei do it's work.
At any rate I would recommend clear over tinted.

To clarify, these are earbuds that go in your ears, not speakers that go in your helmet. The specification "40mm JBL" is for a speaker that goes in your helmet. The total cost of my ear buds and a pack of Comply foam tips (order direct or Amazon.com) is under $30. They plug into my Cardo comms using an 1/8" headphone jack. I am not sure if you have the option to use earbuds with a helmet with the integrated Sean comms.
