Hi people! Just thought I'd post a link to my own little review of the AT. If you have any questions about the mods or anything give me a shout. Not looking to use the forum to promote stuff-just thought it might be useful for some ??

Cheers!

Nice video review, mr Crumble.

Not sure about commuting technique, bound to upset a few golf drivers.

Impressive video!

Changed my whole perspective on the AT. Now I want to get one.

Sleek design to maneuver within the traffic and between cars is great!

Looks like alot of fun going off - road on it!

Great review to me since it shows the AT through situations i'd have to go through, traveling from the city to my cottage where I come across a lot of fun off road situations much like what you went through in the video.

What other bikes have you ridden in the past that is most similar to the AT?

Recently had a Multistrada and had a Tiger 800 a year or so back. Tested the Explorer twice too. Africa Twin is more versatile than the Multi although I miss the suspension on the big Ducati. AT much better than Tiger 800 off road and just as nimble in traffic. Explorer too big for my tastes. There's review vids on all 3 of those bikes on my channel too ??
Enjoyed your review.

I'm anxiously awaiting delivery of my AT in June - ordered last Oct.

Starting to wonder if I could just buy a 60" HD television and enjoy your rides from the comfort of my couch - a much cheaper alternative.

Sounds like a plan dude! Glad you enjoyed the vid :)
Your filtering is great on that bike in town. I used to do that stuff on a Honda 250. Got a bit hairy. You made it look easy on the AT!

Great vid. Enjoyed it.
great review and video!!

quick question on the 30mm risers... was there any problem with length of brake/clutch lines, etc.?? would you guess 2 inch risers would be ok without modification...like the rox pivot 2 inch, etc.?

I almost always add risers to my bikes...used a rox pivot 3.5 inch on the Super Tenere but had to buy longer clutch/brake

i took my standard AT up some steep badly eroded enduro type tracks today and as long as you keep your speed up i think it will go anywhere my dr 650 would go,with the advantage of being 10 times more comfortable and more then twice as farst on the road.

I nearly went for the Rox having had them on a previous bike but I don't think they would look that great on the bike and tbh 30mm is good enough for me and I'm 6ft 4". The SW Motech comes in a nice black. I put 2" risers on my CRF 250L and anymore would have needed longer cables. I don't think the AT will take 3.5 without longer cables.

Cheers!
Ta muchly for the videos, they contributed to convincing myself that I should go and get one!

Thanks for the comment matey! It's pretty narrow and as easy as the Tiger 800 I had to nip through gaps and make it through heavy traffic ??

It's designed for it and is very capable. I have only done some easy stuff so far but it's more my skills that run out rather than the bikes abilities ??
^^ A Canadian on here just posted about planning the Trans America Trail on his AT whenever it arrives. That'll be a great ride report once completed. It'll give the AT a good workout.
