Waiting on my new 24 ATAS DCT to be put together. I asked for center stand 08M70-MKS-E00 and the dealership is telling me this isn’t the right one.

He’s saying I need 08M70-MLN-EQ0 and that it isn’t being produced yet

Can anyone verify, based on your experience? I’ve looked them up myself, but maybe one of you has some experience.

I have MLN. Just haven’t gone to get it installed yet. The issue is the dealerships still aren’t showing updated 2024 part numbers yet, but they are overseas. Once I have him and 3 other dealers the MLN #, they all verified it was correct. Good luck. I’ll go get mine installed in a week or so. I don’t feel like dealing with that spring. lol

Just installed the 08M70-MKS-E00 stand on my 2024 AT AS DCT. Note this is the stand that above comments says the wrong one, but my dealer said it was the right one and it has every appearance of being the right one. Picks the bike up properly, all the bumpstops hit correctly, all clearances are good. don’t know if Honda just changed the number for the hell of it (seen them do that before) or if there is some minuscule difference that I can’t see and therefore do not care about.

Note the biggest problem that the online instructions (none came with the stand) referenced was loading the springs. This is not difficult if you can build a hook and lever arrangement has shown in the second picture below. Use the back of the shock mount for a lever point (aka fulcrum) and make sure you pad it.

As long as it works for you. But it isn’t the correct one. MLN is the correct one. The issue is that most US dealers only show MKS and it confuses them. It’s working for you, and that’s all that matters. But yours is different than mine. Your pic is diff. But it works, for you, then cool!! But the newer one is shorter. The ATAS is lower to the ground, as you know. The two center stands have design differences. Yours looks nothing like mine.

All 3 of my local dealers ending up telling me that MKS was wrong, even though they admitted to being confused. Then they all came back with the same info —MKS is not listed for 2024 ATAS, but for previous, before the 19 inch wheel and lowered suspension. They all found MLN and offered to order it. Wait a few months for all the US part numbers to update, and your dealership will tell you it’s MLN

yeah I paid for install. I’m never doing another center stand. I’d rather pull an engine. 😂😂. That’s just me. I’ve done them, and I don’t enjoy doing them.

The 2024 ATAS has lower suspension/ground clearance so likely the new stand is shorter than the previous one.
It would be interesting to see what the difference is in height of the rear tyre off the ground on yours compared to someone with the new part number stand.
It definitely is! Mine is installed and it’s the new part number, not the one from last year. I got to see another AT at the dealership with the MKS part number and it’s definitely taller and is also designed differently. I have the new part number and the rear tire is NOT very high off the ground, much like my Gold Wing. High enough, but not way off the ground. I have small hands and can’t stack two fingers on top of each other and slide under my GW or ATAS (with new part number) rear tires. So to me, its height is perfect. Last year/model stand would have it higher, as you noted.

They are great, thanks.
Will have to try and compare to my cut down stand as it was almost touching the rear pegs and no way I could get my foot in so had to shorten it.
Having said that mine is not an oem Honda one but the pics should give me some references.
I may just go for the new oem Honda stand instead, we will see but again thanks for taking the images.

I’ll concede the point, my rear tire is farther off the deck than the ones you guys are showing - they appear to be ~1” whereas mine is a little under 3”. Still not difficult to get on the stand, and I’m a relatively short person. Trying to figure out now if it’s worth the effort to unload the springs and swap the stands….

If someone who has the 2024 on ATAS stand could measure the length of it for me I would be grateful, see pic of dimension I am meaning.
I am going to buy a new oem stand and I am thinking maybe the 2024 onwards ATAS stand would do me seeing as I have lowered my bike but don't want to buy just to find out it is too short.
