If you have paired the Ncom to the phone, too, then you should remove that pairing. The TFT needs to be the only device connected to the helmet, at any time.
I have a Ncom B901K and I don't have any of the problems you mentioned.

 

I did delete the direct phone to n com and the phone calling capability works but music doesn’t , I have the n com 601r version. Any other ideas ?

 

The only thing I would suggest is to clear all bluetooth pairing (from both bike and phone) and restart clean. Follow the instructions on the bike's manual to pair again the devices.

 

Good point! I’d also suggest clearing all Bluetooth pairings (both bike & phone) and restarting fresh. Re-pair using the bike’s manual. Often fixes connectivity issues!

 

BTW, what phone are you using?

 

Iphone xr - looks like it may be a head set issue, I’m narrowing a new n com 900 series this week.

 

Yeah, not fun to flush all the phone's BT pairings just because of one device. I guess some phone's manage it better than others.
